MAURICE GRIER
Program Coordinator
Maurice is a Greater Steps Scholar Alum and graduated from West Charlotte Senior High School in 2014. Shortly after, he matriculated into UNC Chapel Hill to receive a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Music Performance and a Philosophy, Politics, and Economics certification from Duke University circa 2018.
He has completed programs at Harvard, Cornell, Ill Trillo Scuola Di Musica, and King's College London, and is currently a Law Student at Howard University School of Law. From Ghana to Italy, England, and China, Maurice has traveled the world through educational opportunities and now seeks to bring that same exposure to current Greater Steps Scholars scholarship recipients.
As a student at The Howard University School of Law, Maurice has a passion for servant leadership, with a history of serving as SGA President in high school, college, and Law School. His leadership permeates each community he is fortunate to be a part of, exuding what our scholarship truly represents as a former scholar turned staffer.
